The Tulsa Athletic Soccer Foundation was recognized by US Cellular for it’s work with Tulsa area students and awarded $1,500 in soccer equipment through their Gift of Connection Program. The presentation was hosted by Keely Flynn, the PE Department Head at Lindbergh Elementary and TASF Board Members Lisa Boullt and Harry Willis. US Cellular representatives include Bryan Vogt, Marketing Manager and Joe Cabrera their Regional Sales Manager.
The US Cellular team delivered shin guards, socks, goalie gloves and soccer balls! TASF will distribute those items along with more equipment to the YMCA’s YES soccer league and to the Tulsa Dream Center. The TASF continues it’s commitment to utilize soccer as a vehicle to create positive opportunities and mindsets for economically disadvantaged Tulsa students, while expanding their educational, physical and social horizons.
The need for essential equipment that the students need to play the game is ongoing and never ending. Through gifts like this and through the generosity of its’ donors and supporters, the Tulsa Athletic Soccer Foundation continues to have a growing impact in our community. Thank you to everyone!
